Inbox Zero System for a Busy Business Coach
Cut a CEO’s inbox from 2,000 unread emails to zero in two weeks, and kept it there.
My client, a business coach in Texas, was spending two hours a day on email and still missing messages from paying clients. Her inbox had over 2,000 unread emails.
What I did
- Sorted old emails into 6 labels: Clients, Leads, Billing, Team, Newsletters and Receipts
- Set up filters so newsletters and receipts skip the inbox
- Wrote 15 reply templates for her most common questions
- Sent a short daily summary of the emails that needed her answer
Result: the inbox reached zero in two weeks. She now spends about 15 minutes a day on email.
