PortfolioMo ("we", "us") builds personal portfolio websites for our clients. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to build and maintain your website:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and mobile number.
• Website content: your photo, bio, skills, projects, work experience, education, resume, and social media links.
• Proof of eligibility: a school ID, Certificate of Registration, diploma, or transcript if you apply for the student or partner school rate.
• Payment details: proof of payment and the reference number you send us. We do not collect or store your card or bank login details.
• Website data: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, collected by our hosting and security tools.

How we use your information

• To build, publish, and maintain your portfolio website.
• To register and renew your domain name, if your package includes one.
• To reply to your messages and provide support.
• To verify student and partner school discounts.
• To send renewal reminders and important service updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for anything other than your own website without asking you first.

Information you publish

Anything placed on your portfolio website is public by design. Please share only what you're comfortable showing to employers, clients, and anyone else who visits your link. We recommend leaving out sensitive details such as your home address, birthdate, government ID numbers, or bank information.

Who we share information with

We share only what's necessary with the service providers that make your website work, such as our domain registrar, our hosting provider, and email or messaging platforms we use to contact you. Each provider handles your data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Showcasing client work

We may feature your website in our portfolio, templates page, or social media posts. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us and we'll leave your website out.

How long we keep information

We keep your website content for as long as your website is active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you return. Student IDs and other proof documents are used only for verification and are deleted once verified. Payment records are kept as required for our business records.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our pages and to keep the website secure. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work as expected afterward.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal information, to correct it, to object to its processing, to have it deleted or blocked, and to be compensated for damages. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

Security

We use SSL encryption, security protection, and daily backups on the websites we host, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to do the work. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for students and professionals aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian handle the transaction and give consent on your behalf.

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
